YOUR JOB
As a Royal IHC trainee, you will embark upon a challenging two-year programme divided into four different blocks. During these blocks you will be introduced to the technical world of Royal IHC.
Your experiences will range from working on board a ship, optimizing production (planning) processes, get acquainted with supply chain management and our commercial activities, to working on engineering challenges and taking on international projects in countries such as Dubai, Brazil, Croatia or China. We have a strong focus on development. All our trainees work on their personal and professional development within Royal IHC, together with their internal mentor. Main development will be realized by training on the job and through various forms of training and workshops that will be offered to achieve these goals, e.g. related to personal development, cultural awareness, project management and dredging and offshore training.
To help you get the most out of your personal development within our company, you will get the possibility to co-create the content of your traineeship together with the trainee coordinator. Once you have completed your two-year traineeship, you will be ready for your next step within Royal IHC.
YOUR PROFILE
Have you just graduated (within two years) with a technology-related bachelor or master degree? (for example Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and Management) Do people describe you as ambitious, social and purposeful? And are you enterprising and internationally oriented? Then you are the kind of person we are looking for.
