Who are you?

You ...

• completed pre-university education and obtained a financial / economic, business or technical Master degree between September 2017 and September 2018;
• combined above-average study results with extracurricular activities;
• are outgoing, result driven and highly motivated to continue learning;
• willing to prove yourself in a challenging job;
• have affinity with mergers and acquisitions;
• know how to make an impact, have strong analytical skills and are curious;
• have excellent skills in Dutch and English both oral and written.

What can you expect at PwC?

The Edge programme is a three-year journey that officially begins with an International Deals Foundation event in Madrid in September 2018. Here, you'll meet another 300 graduates and PwC Deals leaders from across EMEA and get a taste of the work that you'll be doing in the Deals business. During the first two years, you will rotate among four out of seven Deals competencies:

• Financial Due Diligence;
• Valuations;
• Corporate Finance;
• Delivering Deal Value;
• Business Restructuring Services;
• Strategy;
• Data & Analytics.

Every six months you will rotate and meet new colleagues. Together with other trainees and PwC colleagues you will work in teams on deals related projects. You have your own tasks and in addition to your professional development there is more than enough time to get together with your trainee group to share experiences and to work on your personal development. The programme will challenge you and stretch your capabilities, but it will also be a rewarding journey that will equip you for the next stage in your career.

You can upload your application via the 'Solliciteren' button. The application procedure for the Deals Traineeship 2018 will close 18th of March. Part of the selection process will be a three-day Business Course, that will take place in Amsterdam from April 18th untill April 21th and gives you a peek behind the scenes of our Deals Practice. During an intensive case study you and your group will be acting as PwC Deals colleagues and try to convince the customer of your advice. Besides the case, there will be an informal program where you get to know current trainees and PwC deals professionals.
