Role and responsibilities

As an HR Management Trainee you will have 4 assignments, each of 6 months, in the areas that are linked to our people strategy such as: Talent Acquisition, People Services, Learning and HR Line. The purpose of these assignments is to develop your leadership, system thinking and decision-making capabilities. Each assignment holds a strategic component with concrete deliverables. In order to gain international experience, an international assignment for six months will be one of the four assignments. To make this opportunity even more exciting for you, you will be paired with a senior leader within our HR organization. During the two years of the traineeship, you will create a broad network within the company from which you will reap long-lasting benefits. You are empowered to be in the driver's seat for your own career, with constant guidance and support by our professional team of experts. Next to learning on-the-job via the 4 assignments, and learning from others and your coach, you will also receive an intensive development program to build upon your leadership skills with exciting learning opportunities.

Education and experience

• You have a master's degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related, and you have affinity with Human Resources, with an average of, at least,7.5 on your grade list.
• You have limited work experience (0 – 3 years) or you will graduate soon.
• You are available to start the program as of the 1st of February 2023.
• It’s a plus if you have participated in extracurricular activities - such as serving as part of the board for a student association or volunteer work.

Selection process

1. Application: Apply with your resume and motivation letter before Sunday November 20th, 2022, at 23:59 CET. We will inform you if your resume has been selected for the first round of the selection process within one week from the application deadline.
2. Pre-recorded Video Interview: The first round consists of an online pre-recorded interview. The candidates matching our selection criteria will be invited to answer to few pre-set questions via HireVue. 
3. Online assessment: Candidates who are selected after their video interview, will be asked to answer online assessment questionnaires.
4. Selection day: If you pass the online assessment round, you will be invited to our selection day(s) on the ASML Campus in Veldhoven.
5. Job offer: You will be informed within a few working days after the selection day, if you have been selected for the Management Traineeship and will receive a job offer.
