PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Being part of the central Group Control team which advises and supports the Executive Board (EB) members in their decision-making to enhance and sustain the overall performance of the Randstad organization

The team monitors, assesses and advises on business and financial indicators; advises on key trends, deviations from planning cycle scenarios, and (potential) risk areas; supports top management in strategic planning process and in key projects / initiatives to improve the business performance of the consolidated group

KEY ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Business essentials
• Understand the identity, values, strategy, business principles, business concepts, and financial strategy of Randstad
• Corporate intelligence, ensure visibility of market developments and the competitive situation
• Supporting the BI tool implementation and digitalization of performance reporting
• Participating in the governance cycle, providing Group Control with insight and guidance on the performance, financial outlook & scenarios, progress on strategy and execution of the operating companies

QUALIFICATIONS /TRAINING:

• Bachelor/master degree preferably in economics, finance, accounting, business administration or science
• Affinity for number, financial analysis and/or trainings in finance
• Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, complex problem solving, reliability
• Drive, proactive, self-starter, positive and can do attitude
• Tirelessly driving constant improvement, setting high standards
• Speed, sense of urgency
• Effective/concise communication (in English), speaking and writing
