Management Trainee Program

Job description

The AGRO Merchants General Management Trainee Program is a comprehensive 2 year program that consists of on-the-job experience, management skills training and coaching essentially combining real job assignments with practical studies. Together we will plan a program in which you rotate through different departments and roles and receive assignments which covers the diverse aspects of the AGRO Merchants businesses. This approach will give you local and international experiences, all with the aim of building sills to eventually take on a management position within the European or Global group.

Job requirements

Your educational background is a Master’s degree, preferably in: Economics & Business, Informatics & IT or Transportation & Logistics. It’s important that you can convince us of your proven affinity with cold chain logistics and an international career. You have approximately 1 year of relevant working experience and/or have gained managerial and international experience during your studies and extracurricular activities. You have proven wide interests in, and the ambition to grow outside your specialized subject area. As your assignments will be at several AGRO Merchants companies in the Netherlands and at our European locations you hold an international driving license and have good command of English language, written and spoken.
