Graduate Analyst in Software Testing

Cognizant is hiring IT oriented graduates with minimum a Bachelor degree to join our Software Testing Practice to start as a Graduate Analyst in Software testing

Position overview

By joining as a Graduate Analyst you will become part of our Testing Practice in Europe that provides a full range of testing services and quality management solutions to our European clients across multiple industry sectors, including manual testing, test design, automated testing, performance testing, and test consulting. Here you will have the opportunity to later grow into a test management or program management role.

As soon as we can we will assign you to a client engagement in Europe to work with experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions as we would like to ensure that you get real working experience from the beginning. Your first assignment as a Graduate Analyst could involve any combination of: creating Test Strategies and Approaches, developing detailed Test Plans, documenting and maintaining Test Scenarios and Test Cases, executing Test Cases, coordinating deployment of fixes and retesting defects, and executing Automated Scripts.

Training, support and coaching

Prior to starting your client engagement you will attend a 4 week New Hire Training Program for graduates in Chennai in India, where you will learn everything about Software Testing.

Throughout you’re the first 18 months we will monitor your progress and offer coaching, training and support by our own Academy to help you achieve your long-term career goals. In addition to your day to day project manager, we’ll assign a mentor to ensure you get all the help and support you need to start your career on the best footing

Applicants must be willing to relocate to one of the key geographic areas where we have customer accounts for example including Amsterdam, Zurich or Bonn.

Do you have:

• Bachelors degree in Technology, Informatics, ICT or Business
• (Preferably) demonstrated ability to program in at least 1 language or framework, such as C, C++, Java, .NET, Perl, etc.Nil or maximum 1 year work experience
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (in German or French and in English)
• Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams
• Willingness to relocate, travel and work in countries outside your home country
