The people working @ Cognizant are a diverse workforce: from architects, business analysts and development professionals, to network engineers, project managers, software developers and sales professionals.
Many of them are part of project teams at customer sites in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific. Others work at one of our 50+ development centers in Budapest, US, India, China, Latin America or elsewhere.
In Continental Europe (headquartered in Amsterdam) we have 4800 employees globally serving 114 European customers, of which around 1400 are onsite European employees. Our projects are in over 40 cities across Europe and we have near-shore centers in UK and Hungary.
A project team supporting one of our customers usually includes team members from both places. Employees collaborate virtually, thanks to the latest voice, IM, HD video and Telepresence tools, including our collaborative development platform: Cognizant 2.0.
