How does a traineeship at Vollers look like?

The traineeship business & commodity management is a program of two years in which you will get the opportunity to work and learn in different Vollers departments. During the traineeship you will get familiar with different business processes such as warehousing, finance and pricing. We will also try to teach you the ins and outs of some of the key products we store, transport and process: coffee, cocoa and tea. Eventually you will also coordinate one or more projects together with other trainees within the group. During these two years you will get support/coaching from department mentors and a personal coach.

What kind of company is offering this traineeship program?

Vollers is a group of 13 international small- and medium-size logistic companies with about 450 employees in total. A professional partner with 90 years of experience in handling, storing, processing, and transporting goods like cocoa, coffee, tea and general cargo. We have offices and warehouses in 8 different countries. The most recent addition to the Vollers family is our own tea processing facility in the Netherlands. Each location is different in size and company culture but typical for Vollers in general is partnering with customers, quality, results, innovation and the hands-on mentality.

Your tasks

• Get familiar with different business processes such as warehousing, finance and pricing
• Learn the ins and outs of some of the key products we store, transport and process: coffee, cocoa and tea
• Coordinate one or more projects together with other trainees within the group

How does your profile look like?

• You have at least a bachelor degree in finance, economics or a technical area
• You have a maximum of two years work experience 
• You are creative and results driven
• You have a structured way of working, individually and in a team 
• Next to your native language (Dutch or German) you have excellent communication skills in English (verbally and written)
• You are proactive, flexible and practical minded
