The position

We are looking for a hands on bachelor or master student in the last stage of his/her studies to support the International Desk UK & Ireland, based in London. Tasks include, but are not limited to, liaising with Dutch corporate clients, organising events, preparing client meetings and updating the CRM system on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is flexible and eager to take on ad hoc tasks as they come up.

Our department

The division International Services is responsible for the international proposition of Dutch corporate clients abroad. Regardless of the size of the company or the sector the company is active in International Services makes sure Dutch clients are supported abroad. Currently, there are 18 International Desks representing all the continents. The colleagues at these desks work closely together with colleagues in the Netherlands, both within International Services and from other departments in order to optimally service the Dutch clients in their respective countries.

Team International Desk UK & Ireland

Our team is responsible for servicing the subsidiaries of the Dutch clients in the United Kingdom and Ireland. We are specialists locally; we are familiar with the local ways of doing business, we are up to date regarding economic and political relevant issues and with respect to the entrepreneurial climate. We have an extensive network. Apart from the Embassy’s from the Netherlands, the UK and Ireland we liaise with trade organisations like UK Trade and Invest (UKTI) and Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC).
Currently, our team consists of a Desk Manager and a Commercial Support Officer (CSO).

Your profile

• You are a student willing to gain working experience for a period of 6 months in London.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, both in word and in writing. Preferably, your studies are tutored in English.
• Your Microsoft office skills are above average.
• You are a good representative for Rabobank to both clients and network.
• You can handle a considerable workload.

What we offer

• At Rabobank we offer you a monthly compensation of € 750.
• Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Additional information

During the entire period of your internship, it is obligatory to be registered at a college or university.
