Your role as project coordinator

Within Rivoir, the project coordinator is part of the investment management team and expected to work on projects concerning with business and contract management. The investment management team consists of 10 professionals with backgrounds in technical work, finance and legal management.

From start to finish, Investment Management is the most pivotal part Rivoir's service provision to infrastructure projects. The job has a multidisciplinary nature since we provide service provision to different stakeholders within the project; like the client and construction consortiums, to international banks, investors and top advisors. Making this a very dynamic but, demanding environment. The position of project coordinator is broad and covers both technical and financial components.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The project coordinator focuses on the processes and assurance related to investments and concession contracts. This involves overseeing aspects of major projects such as business planning, reporting, and monitoring progress and quality. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple project teams, participating in the latest technological advancements in finance. As a project coordinator, you will work closely with the finance managers, legal managers, asset managers and the project directors of Rivoir Capital. 

Your Tasks and Responsibilities include:

• Support project management on projects (infrastructure, public real estate or renewable energy) in terms of strategy and management execution, like Preparing, minutes and board meetings and follow up actions.
• Monitor planning and risks in the corporate calendar (Cmore) and anticipate upcoming deadlines
• Analyzing progress on planning, budget, quality of the asset and coordinating follow-up with involved parties. Analyzing compliance with contracts (government, banks, contractor) and coordinating with the parties involved.
• Organizing risk sessions and following up on them.
• Ensure project documentation/archiving.
• Implement and improve the Rivoir 'way of working' in the project portfolio.

In the future, you will be able to grow further into a role as a business/asset manager. During your career, you gain more experience and knowledge by working along with the other work streams of investment management on the same or other projects.

Desired background and experience

• University diploma as well working and thinking level on that level.
• Technical or, possibly financial background with an affinity for engineering.
• Experience/interest in the engineering, construction, consulting or investment industry.
• Affinity with (project) financing and (integral) DBFM(O) projects is an advantage, no must.
• 0-3 years of work experience.
