Role and responsibilities

Program Management Office
Business Line Program Management Office (BL PMO) works with the Project and Program Managers and is the right hand of business counterpart assuring that product development process run efficiently by:

• Defining, implement, sustain and improve methodologies and processes for Waterfall project and SAFe/Agile project management and other business processes that influence program performance;
• Advising and coaching with respect and integrity;
• We build and continuously analyze and improve tools and reports to manage the risks and triple constraints (resources, scope, time);
• We stimulate cooperation and assure a uniform way of working. 

The 120 BL PMOs are a proud, passionate and positive team. Together BL PMO assures that ASML products will get a shorter time to market and uses their resources in the best way possible to strengthen our competitive position.

As PMO trainee:

• You immediately perform one (or more) operational role(s) in combination with an extensive personal and professional development program. You will have the opportunity to rotate across the Business Lines.
• Together with your colleagues and internal customers, you are responsible for the using/ roll-out and implementation of project (program) standards and processes related to, among other things, project planning, the product generation process, effective decision-making, reporting, change control, risk management, financials and quality.
• You will have the opportunity to become the driving force behind PMO improvements x-BL/ sector. You will pro-actively assist, enable and challenge all stakeholders to contribute to efficient product development. You will do this in cooperation with colleagues in involved sectors, such as Finance, Development & Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Support.

Education and experience

• You have a Master degree in a business oriented study and affinity with a technical environment. For example, but not exclusively, in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Industrial Engineering, Innovation Management, Finance or Organizational studies. Or you have a Master degree in a technical study with affinity with program and project management.
• You have limited work experience (max 2 year) or you will graduate soon.
• You can start within the program from September 2022 and no later than November 2022.
• It's a pre if you participated in extracurricular activities, such as serving as part of the board for a student association or if you did volunteering work.

• 2 fixed term contracts for the duration of the program, with the intention of an indefinite contract after successful completion of the traineeship;

Selection process

1. Application: apply with your resume and motivation letter before Wednesday June 29, 2022, at 23:59 CEST. We will inform you if your resume has been selected for the first round of the selection process within one week from the application deadline.
2. Pre-recorded Video Interview: The first round consists of an online pre-recorded interview. The candidates matching our selection criteria will be invited to answer to few pre-set questions via HireVue.
3. Selection day: If you pass the first round, you will be invited to our selection day. You will be invited for a one-day selection day. The selection day will take place on Wednesday July 27.
4. Job offer: You will be informed within a few working days after the selection day if you will receive a job offer.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R § 730, et seq.).
